Tdi Or Tdi In Red?

Can some one please tell me what diffidence is between a TDI and TDI in RED? :blink:

To distinguish the various diesel's power outputs, the 90ps has all silver TDi badges, the 110ps has a red i, the 115ps has a red Di, and the 130ps has "130" prefixing TDi on the Seat/VW, and an all red TDi on the Galaxy.

We mentioned this on Saturday didn't we MO4? ..... mine has an all silver TDi badge although it clearly states the power output being 115PS on the Log book version code. Wonder if it's been replaced at some time?

this colour thing was a vw/seat only dont think ford ever identified their bhp with the badge :blink:

Neither Ford Customer Relation Centre nor Ford Product Information Line are aware of any reason why the TDI badges are different colours. "We've had nothing communicated to us about this, so can't advise you I'm afraid ......" :lol: :lol: :lol:

Guys the red leters on the badges does NOT TELL YOU bhp for your car.The only way your can be shure is to go to back of the car open the lid on the right hand side (where you keep your jack) and find the sticker that has all the cars details.

66kw = 90bhp

85kw = 115bhp

96kw = 130bhp
